6101 problem

Hello,

I currently have two 6101 in my 375. One just died about two weeks ago. I have had them for about 14 months.

I took the unit apart according to the directions in the booklet and cleaned all the parts. Plugged it back in and still nothing.

I am currently letting it soak in warm water to see if that might get it going. The light on the transformer fuse is lit so I assume there is power to the transformer.

Can anyone give me some advice as to what I might be missing?

Thanks,
Stilgore

If you have cleaned it based on the thread at the top of this forum and it is still not working I would try swapping the transformers just to check it is not a bad one. you could also swap the impeller from the good one as well. If neither of these fix it you might need to send it to Roger for repair.

If you have checked your 6101 with another transformer and it still isn't working then you may want to send it back to us. Our address is

Tunze USA
305 Victor St
Austin TX 78753

Please include a note with your return address.

The jumper above the light is also a fuse and the power supply can still light but have a bad jumper. Otherwise it is the pump. Either way it is under warranty and if you send it in we will fix it.

Thanks for all the replies. With the holidays I have not had time to switch the transformers. I will today.

I will let you know what I find out and then send the unit in for repairs.

Happy Holidays,
Stil
