Change one of my 6055 to a 6105, and believe it'!! now i can hear i have a marinetank. Does the noise past as they brake in?? (it have run for two weeks) i have a Neoprene pad inside but it doesn't help at all, the noise is comming from the pump.

I would think something must be wrong if you have ruled out the magnet holder and the noise has not reduced in 2 weeks. Please check that the front cover is on straight and that nothing is inside the pump.

I have 4 6105s in operation and they are all silent. I posted this before, but hold the 6105 and wet side magnet in place in the tank and rotate your outside (dry side) magnet holder 180 degrees. This cured a noise issue with one of them that I had.

Try that, dont help!! i have to remove it from the tank, my wife is not happy ;) hope Tunze can fix the problem:(

By the way, seen a buddi today who claim that he got a silent one!! i hope thats true, and that mine is just "a bad number"

One of mine will occasionally create what I can only call a "resonance" in my canopy for some unknown reason. It comes and goes, but it seems it has gotten better over a few months. I got one of the first 100 here in the states as I understand it, got it in early december. Never tried the magnet trick though.
