6105 new brackets faulty?

I have a pair of 6105 streams that came with the new style brackets - ie the tank side bracket has 4 blue rubber plugs between the magnet and the bracket.

The problem is that the grip of the bracket on the pump is loose. The pump doesn't fall out but will sink in the bracket over the cause of a day so that they are no longer centred in the bracket. As a result they end up pointing up towards the surface rather than straight along the tank.

I have checked that the cable isn't pulling on them but the problem seems to be that the grip of the bracket just isn't very tight?

Just squeeze in on the clamp after sperating it from the rubber buffers, this plastic is very flexible and you can squeeze it pretty hard and it will hold tighter after that.
