6105 placement with 7096

Hello All,
I've advised to post here
i used to have FOWLR tanks and sometimes some anemone and softies
i decided to move to reef, mainly LPS and softies but hope to go to SPS one day
i have 400 liter L shape tank
i added a 90 liter sump/refuge (skimmer+cheato+some plants+sand and rock and algae scrubber) 2 weeks ago
i'm using 2 PVC overflow (one goes to skimmer area, and the other to the refuge area)
I got 4 tunze 6105 and Multicontroller 7096
here is a chart for my tank
picture.php

i use 3 6105 with the controller in pulse mode 0%-50% power
A and B work together at 50% then in 0%
C is working 50% when A and B are 0% and 0% when they are in 50%
D is the sump out flow and directed to down a little and left
E and F are intake to sump

here is a video of the tank now
sorry for bad quality video as it's captured by mobile
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMoXyujivjE

now to the questions
1- how many pumps i should use of the 4 and where to place them
2- is the wave i have in the tank shown in video is ok

I notice that i have no movement under A and C pumps and start to have dust covering sand,
what should be the good configuration

I think everything is fine but I would change the flow to 100% or at least 80% maximum and maybe instead of 0% try 30%. I think the placement is about as good as you can get for the shape, non rectangular tanks are always more difficult.

thank you rvitko for your reply
i'll try it today
but what is the best vertical position
how long from the water surface it should and should i make it aiming up toward surface
or should it be horizontal or aiming down

How deep is the tank?

In general they should be about a quarter of the distance form the top with a very slight upward angle.

Hello Thank you again rvitko
i have more 2 questions
1- i'm using pulse mode with one p1=0 and p2=50 and the other p1=50 and p2=0
i'll change them to 30 and 70
but if i use night mode, one will be 0 and the other is 50
is there a way to make night mode use low number not the p1

Hello,
but even if i did not make it 0
and make on p1=30 and p2=100
and the other p1=100 and p2=30 to make a wave
the night mode will be
first 30 and second 100, which is not what i want
right?

Pumps in the wavemode sockets turn off in night mode, this is done because most people don't want the sloshing noise at night.

If sockets 1 and 2 were at 100 and 30 the night mode would be 30%. Unfortunately there is no way to do exactly what you are trying to do with the 7096.
