Hi,
Can the pump be operated without the presence of a wavemaker unit ? If yes, what is the flow rate ? I would eventually buy the profilux comtroller in the near feature.
Thanks in advance

Yes, you will be able to adjust the flowrate by a potentiometer and voltage settings, a controller just adds the ability to pulse and alternate between pumps.

Hi Roger,
Thanks for the response. I want to try/add the Tunze pump to the current setup which has MP40W. The tank is about 47x31x24 ~120 gallon. Which pump would u recommend ?
3105 or 3095. When the Tunze is paired with the Prolifux, is there any capability missing when using with the Profilux P3 ? Not very happy about the sound of MP40W when running at 80%. Willing to give Tunze a try.

Once you go Tunze you won't go back :inlove:

But did you also mean 6105 or 6095? I have no experience with the 6095, however the 6105 with a wide flow nozzle would be perfect.

The 6095 is the closest mimic of flow pattern and about the same internal size. If you wanted a more forceful, further reaching flow, the 6105 would do the job and includes two front housings, as Macca 75 said, the wide flow front housing would be the best suited and you may need to run it at a lower voltage or turn it down. It will be substantially quieter.

I end up getting the 6095 instead of 6105. Just concerned about the sizing of the 6105. Thanks for the feedback. If the 6095 doesn't provide enough flow, I can always get a second 6095.
