6105's magnet

Just received my 6105 - one issue was the thickness of my acrylic which is 1 inch - there is no way it will hold - Marine Depot in the link above has as part of their description that it holds on pane up to 25ml or .98 of an inch - might want to relate to them that this is hogwash - unless I am missing something. Be nice if Tunze had stepped up the magnet to accomadate 1 inch

Magnet Holder - a standard feature
As a standard feature, Turbelle® stream® is supplied with a magnetic holder, which enables uncomplicated attachment at any position on the aquarium pane from 19 mm (.74 in.) to 25 mm (.98 in.).

There description is wrong, all of our literature states that the included holder is for up to .74in, 19mm. We do have a larger holder 6205.500 that is standard on the 6205 and 6305 and it is for .98in or 25mm. I will contact them about this.

you link took me to a page which said unknown - but - if you go to their link for the 6105. scroll down to the third paragraph under their bullet list of specifis for the 6105 you will see it - so it is still there and has been for a long time

Are you by chance saying their is another magnet that can be ordered that this 6105 will attach to - the one for magnets set that the .98 inch 25 ml panes?

Here is the specs from the MD site

Flow rate: 3,000 to 13,000 l/h (792 to 3,434 USgal./h).
Energy consumption: max. 45 W.
Voltage / frequency: 100 â€"œ 240 V / 50 â€"œ 60 Hz.
Cable length: 5 m (196.8 in.).
Dimensions: diam. 90 mm (3.5 in.), Outlet: diam. 50 mm (1.96 in.).
Magnet Holder up to a glass thickness of 19 mm (.74 in.).

I see the paragraph you are referring to but it is clumsily worded and is referring to all the Stream 2 pumps and that there are 2 magnet holders .74in and .98in.

Yes, the 6205 and 6305 come standard with a stronger magnet holder, it is also thicker, it is part 6205.500 and it will work with all the pump models.

Do you think the .98 magnet will support my 6105 on 1 inch acrylic if I continue to run 15 volts. At 15 volts I find myself still toning down from 100%? If so, are the magnets for this available at this time? Can I get them from you?

And another question - I find that the adjustment knob also adust RPMs even when installed with my 7095 - there are three levels of adjustment - the white knob, the jumper, and my 7095 - this is good.

Thank you for the assist.

Yes, the large magnet will probably even work on 1.25" it is very strong. If you use a controller do not adjust the white knob, however you can change the jumper. The controller should override the white knob but sometimes having both turned down results in the controller not functioning properly.

whoops - should the whilte know be on full blast before i quit touching it forever?

can I get the magnet from you?
