6200.5 and 1" acrylic

Will these magnets work for this new setup? I'm running 6101's and would like to transfer them to the new tank vs. buying new pumps and running a closed loop.

they are only rated to 3/4", only the new gen pumps/magnets are rated to 1"

They will hold but just barely and I wouldn't recommend it. The new 6205 and 6305 include magnets for up to 1" but they don't work with the older pumps.

Thanks...I guess. I had hoped they would work well enough to justify the new to me tank upgrade.
