Hi roger,
I came downstairs this morning to find my tunze control box maiking a sickly sound. Not beeping, but a dull buzz. (like an alarm clock thats been thrown against the wall.
)
So I have gone though the process for cleaning the pump.
Took out impeller assmbly (new style), bearing, oring) and soaked them and the pump housing for a few hours and cleaned them up nice. They were very caked with calcium deposits, and the hole in the impeller was blocked. Now all is clean and clear, bearing is completely clean, and impeller rotates freely when they are removed from assembly, but still not working.
I can feel the pump TRYING to move the impeller (if I rotate a little by hand I feel opposite force), but its still just buzzing.
Did I kill it?
Thanks,
Justin
