I just got this back at the end of Sept. Now it's completely dead. The first time it was starting and stopping every 10-20 seconds. In a Pm, Roger, you told me that the motor had failed. Guess they didn't fix that problem?

"The motor failed, some of the earlier motors just were not built right and the internal electronics would short and fail."
I know I'll send it back. Don't know how it was an earlier model. I only got it in May. Sitting in a warehouse somewhere? If that was the only problem and they knew how to fix it, why would it short out again so soon?

I wasn't saying it sat there long. Turn around time was excellent the last time I sent it in. Maybe from the vendor? I don't know what you meant by the "earlier models" as this was purchased in May. Did you upgrade/improve something after May?
Also odd, it started working again late Sat and pretty sure all day Sun. Now again nothing.
The other one is working fine on both transformers. I'll get it back to you ASAP. Makes fighting off my cyano that much harder.

No, no I meant that we don't have stuff sitting on our shelves for long, I wasn't being critical just clarifying that we wouldn't have a pump or part sitting in our stock for months. The first 6201's made last year from June to this February had various problems with the proximity of the driver board to the the motor coils. This could cause shorts or the board to crack, we made various changes along the way and the problems were not universal, it was just a high percentage that could fail because heat and time caused parts to expand, move and create shorts. If they were made exactly to spec they were fine but a fair number due to human error had problems with internally shorting out.
