6205 Product Versions

Hi Roger, I bought a new 6205 today and despite checking with the supplier that the pump would be the latest version it isn't :thumbdown It has the black propellor and doesn't have the blue silicone shock absorbers.

I checked with Tunze UK and they said Tunze Germany should supply me with the latest parts foc, but they weren't sure of the differences....for the record, could you tell me what the spec of the latest 6205 should be? I emailed Tunze Germany but haven't had a reply yet....Regards, Andy

Your email came to me actually, I am in the US, info.english at tunze dot com comes to me. I forwarded it to Regina at our office in Germany, the only difference is the silence clamp and the blue prop, there is no difference in function or flow, it is a bit quieter and the propeller is more wear resistant. These parts will be sent to you but it will take a little time, these changes are less than 6 weeks old and likely some older versions are still in stock with various distributors and wholesalers.

Hi Roger, that is excellent news and the great service that I had previously found from Tunze :spin1: I willl not go to the dark side of pumps ever again, I promise!

In the meantime, am I good to use the pump as supplied whilst waiting for the other parts? Many thanks, Andy

Hi Roger, I just wanted to say a big thankyou for your assistence, my reaplcement silence clamp and complete driver unit arrived yesterday and my 6205 is now almost completely silent and my office desk is only two feet from it - very impressive

I went for a single 6205 initially to replace the single Vortech to do a direct comparison before deciding whether to purchase another - I have the GHL Profilux ramping between 5% and 75% with a random wave edge. It's currently on the back corner pointing to the centre but I'm concerned flow might be a bit circular - where would yiou suggest I position it, on a side wall pointing down? Regards, Andy

they can run from 0% to 100%, you just have to set the 1-10v to 3v-8v

Yep, it's set like this: Profilux_Tunze.PNG

Seems to produce a nice flow anyway....
