My 6215 pump is having a problem with the impeller coming a out 1cm out of the housing when the pump is in the off phase of the pulse then slamming home with a loud click when it switches back to the on phase of the pulse. Is this correctable?

Do you know the age of the pump or if this is the type made before Nov 2011 with the removable shaft or the new type made since with the fixed shaft? The removable shaft has a blue bushing on either end and attaches to the front housing, the fixed shaft is only visible in the motor with the impeller removed.

Make sure the impeller is the right one, part 6305.701, this would only be an issue if it got swapped during cleaning with one from another Tunze pump.

Make sure the metal shaft and hole in the middle of the impeller assembly are clean, calcium build up here will cause the drive unit to jerk instead of move smoothly up and down.

Make sure that only one disk 3005.740 is installed and the rubber is at the bottom, slotted plastic disk faces the bottom of the magnet, this part does wear and may need to be replaced but the old one must be removed before installing a new one.
