Is there a firm shipping date for the 6255?

We get the first 12 next week, the factory is now closed so no more are expected until late January after production resumes. These first 12 will go to preorders going back as far as July, I don't expect any will be available, in fact very few of these will even get to private aquarists as our earliest preorders are for zoos and institutions. However, I have been told the first shipment we get next year will fulfill all of our existing backorders and leave some stock available and going forward through February they should be readily available.

I apologize for the delays, we encountered a technical hurdle and this set us back, the early design vibrated too much and we were concerned that this would affect pump durability and we needed a new shaft of surgical titanium (grade 5) and a different method of installing the shaft (pressed then resin imbedded). It is now solved but the much larger propeller (64mm if I recall) and higher RPM motor required overall beefier components.
