Hi Roger, a while back my 6261 pump died and you very kindly fixed me up with a 6215 pump. For many reasons I was not entirely satisfied. I had a custom made wavebox that was designed specifically for the 6261 pump. I managed to fit the 6215 pump in but it vibrates a bit. It was incredibly noisy but now after I don't know how many months it's been it is finally quiet. The one remaining problem is it is still not as strong as my original 6261 pump. I have the 24v resistor on it. I can see through the wavebox and know for a fact it's not moving as much water. Does anyone out there have a 6261 pump they would like to sell to me?

It should for sure be a stronger pump than the old one, are you sure the potentiometer is turned all the way up and that the drive unit is not fused to the shaft, it should be possible to pull it off the shaft and it should spin freely if the shaft is held still. The 6261 pump ceased production in mid 2009, I know that none are available from the factory or ourselves or Xenia.
