6305 not working

Got this not too long ago as a gift. Went to go plug it in and test it out for a new tank build and i havent gotten it to work. I know my gf paid like 600+ for this thing and it doesnt work. Its atleast 2 months old. It doesnt want to spin and I think the little flow controller knob is missing. How can i solve this problem as I dont want her money to go to waste. I am pretty new to reefing and wanted to get the best product there was for flow.

When you say the flow control know is missing... do you mean there is no small white dial on the junction box the power supply plugs into? Are you running it with or without a controller? Is there aa light on the power supply?

FYI, roger is out of town until the 19th but surely will get this taken care of when he returns

I am using this without a controller and have yet to have it circulate water yet. There is a light on the power supply, but there is no white dial.

Yea, I sure hope so. This pump cost more than my whole tank.

The white dial would not be the culprit, and it can be replaced easily. Please send in the pump and power supply and we will get whatever part is dead replaced.
