Hey, just joined the community and i'm trying to gauge the type of crowd we got here so... what are the opinions on stocking a standard 65 gallon (36 x 18 x 18) with 3 inches of live sand, 60 lbs of rock, no sump, 2 HO dual t5 fixtures, Prism 100g skimmer, AC 110 filled with live rock chunks with a yellow tang, pair of pink skunk clowns, mandarin goby, pair of fire dartfish, diamond goby, sand sifting star, long spiny urchin, pair of porcelain crabs, feather dusters and a load of snails/hermits as well as LPS, soft, mushroom corals?

Isn't your 65g 36 x 18 x 24"? Sounds good except for the skimmer. Those Prisms aren't very good. Try a Remora instead, or a Deltec if you can fork the cash out for that. I think a 65 is too small for a sand sifting star and Yellow Tang long term. A Long Spiny urchin will be a bit cramped in a 65g as well...may starve. The Diamond Goby may be a food competitor for the Mandarin, so that may not work either.

Thanks. I have had that tank i mentioned running for about six months with the stock above with little problem. Plan on adding another 40 pounds of rock, more corals (only have a torch, leather, mushrooms, a stray polyp or two, and a hammer) and maybe a few smaller darts or wrasses. The rockwork now is very cave ridden and i want to expand that.
