Have a flame angel in qt now. Bonded pair of perculas in hospital tank. Idea for stock right now is:
2 perculas
1 flame angel
2 bangai cardinals
1 copper band butterfly (possibly)
have 8 bumble bee snails and 4 hermits as well.
plan on doing fowlr and maybe some bta. Thoughts on what else may fit or be compatible? Don't want to over stock. Dealing with that in my fresh water now

I think it could work, I don't know much about the copperband but the others seem OK. A little small for the flame angle, could get agressive in that size tank. Maybe a royal gramma to add some color?

Flame angel will be last to go in. Saw him at the store and just had to have him! He's by far my favorite. Hoping I can use the formalin to kick this issue with the clowns. May add a small wrasse instead of the copper band. Under 5 inch wrasse

Your tank is right at the smallest limit for keeping a Flame Angel. Even still you may have some aggression issues with it as it matures; they do much better in a tank over 100 gallons. Also note they will jump! I lost a reef safe Flame Angel I had kept for 5 years. One night it took a leap and I didn't find it in time to save it. I keep a net over all my rimless tanks now, almost any fish can jump out of your tank.

Copperband needs a much bigger tank (125gal) at least IMHO.
I will likely go with some wrasse then. Made the mistake in my fresh water of over stocking. Not doing it here

I have glass canopies cut tight around filter and cords so that shouldn't be an issue
