??

both have this:
wave simulation, tidal current control, night mode operation, sequential pump circuit, random flow, food timer, and up to 4 tunzes can be operated..

The 7095 though has a waterproof membrane, LED moon light with the 29 dya lunar cycle and universal mount, 2 more interval funcations for tidal current control, display of capacity (power) of the pumps selected.

they are basically the same the only thing between them is "I believe" the only thing they changed is i think they removed the transformer (the round black unit) to use a slimer power supply thing like what laptops use, but they are the same and nothing else has changed.

for the pumps most of the electronics are now in the pump on the 6101 and it no longer has the silver driver box. the 6101 replaced both the 6000 and 6100 and with the use of the voltage jumpers in the power supply you can basically create the flow of either pump

From memory the cords on the controllable models are 12 or 15 feet so under most circumstances they are plenty long to reach the controller
