Anyone know where I can get one locally? I can order on from USplastics, but shipping is $70bux, and I would prefer to get it locally if I can....

We're using a 35 gal RV holding tank. Might be worth checking into but I can't remember what the bigger sizes they had were.

Try a resaurant supply store. they sell all sorts of food grade plastic ware. They should be able to get from there supplier with no shipping cost.
If you are a DIYer. I hear that Dr. Pepper and coke syrup come in those type of containers.

I have six 55 gallon drums from the local Coca-Cola plant, they had syrup in them but if you don't mind taking the time to clean one out you can have one.

thanks for the offer. I need ones with the lids because I have 2 golden retrievers in the room during the day. they like to explore.... :D

You'll be happy with those, they are so nice because they come with the threaded bulkhead installed and a nice breathable or sealed lid so you can keep it tight if you want. I wonder, are they marked for gallons? aka 10-20-30- an so on? Mine wasn't and I had to measure and make my own labels, that would be nice if it was molded in.

it looks like it from the pic, but I guess we will have to see. Eric, I am going to call Big R out in peyton too. I talked to my landscaper today and they buy theirs from them. It might be cheaper, maybe... If not we can just buy the 4, and I might sell my second one.

ok, I plan on calling Big R this afternoon. Thurge did they have tops? I need something with a top, since I have 2 big dogs.... ;D

The tops looked to be molded on, with a pair of bulk heads for access. Definately dog proof. Plus with almost 500# of water I would not be too worried about dogs knocking it over unless you have St. Bernards.

Fur might be another story, I can't keep fur out, only minimise it with my beast.

well, that is the other issue. They are Golden retrievers, so they do shed. I will give them a call.... Thanks.
