7,000 litres Natural reef tank - Thailand

Just a question, have you considered the heating/cooling issues surrounding the tank being outside?

Thanks for asking . Yes that's why we are running two chillers to bring the temperature down to 26 C . If that 's not enough we can then add more as we still have three more pumps available. But IMHO there is a gentle breeze around all the time and the tank is surrounded by water evaporating from the pool so the temperature should be quite cool all year round.

Installing a sprinkler system for mangroves . Since mangroves excrete salt through the leaves so we need to spray with Ro/DI water 8 times a day with duration of 30 secs.

RO/DI from local manufacturer is now installed with fresh water storage use for auto top off through Kalk reactor only .The main salt water supply for the system is natural sea water.
