7 day challenge...

Good to hear everything is going well for you! I have followed your other breeding threads and have learned alot through them for when my pair of clowns start laying again. Thats awsome that you have got them to 19 days keep up the good work. I will keep following thisthread, Good luck!

This shot is a little better

Are those 33 longs, split into three sections?

EC - Indeed they are. It is a gutted and rebuilt MARS retail (Marineland) setup. Had to move the plumbing to the sides since space was crutial and the MARS filtration system just didn't cut it for me.

Thanks for the kind words.

From the intial successful hatch I have 4 juvis left. All of them are misbarred :) I fear that feeding scheme during meta was not good as they took a long time to "learn" how to eat dry food. They still to this day swim through the growout tank like filter feeding sardines. Mouths open swimming the food into their mouths. Very difficult to keep them fat and happy. I lost 6 over the last week or two :(

On a happier note I have a dozen or so at Day 10 on an enriched rotifer diet. I am going to do my best to avoid feeding them BBS, which I believe led to the feeding issues I currently experience with the first round fellas. These new guys will start getting Oto A very soon with the hopes that they will have a better feeding response then their predecessors.

I will try and get some pictures of the four up. They are indeed quite darling.

Thanks :)

I have been using a bit of trial an error lately to see where I can improve my post meta survival rates. Also trying various things to make less "jaw deformed" fish. It has been frustrating at times but I'm hanging in there. I have about only about 8-10 fish without deformed jaws, so there has been significant culling which I always find difficult. I have however been able to get the survivavl rates up significantly so I now have much larger post meta groups to evaluate.
