7 holes in a glass tank?

Would it be a bad idea to drill 7 holes in the bottom of a 150 gallon, 48x24x30 tank? (2 in the overflow, and 5 spaced out along the bottom?)

Should be ok. Are you using 19mm glass. If so I would think your good. Talk to your tank builder, they will let you know.

I'm currently having a 240gallon tank 72x30x25 built with 10 holes in the bottom. Builder is charging for thicker bottom glass 3/4".

My 180 with 1/2" glass has six holes in the bottom and four in the back. you should be fine
