Today I went to a LFS and found an XL purple tang, for $70. The story behind this is the fish looks very ill! He is more brown than purple in color, the people said that he came in from a restaurant show tank with other tangs and the lights had been turned off in the tang for a long time and they weren't fed often.It was pretty obvious other fish had been nipping at him
Really sad.
Anyways I was concerned he might be sick but the other tangs that came in have colored up, and he is eating. They said he has colored up a little since he came in. He doesn't look too skinny so if he was malnurished he is doing better.
If anyone is interested I'll try to post a pic of him today and keep ya'll updated, just a sad story, really hoping he makes it and colors up again
