The Fowleri I got is about 4-5 inches at most. My 2" maculiceps is still hanging in there even though the green chromis' tower over it

Hey thank you-sorry if it bored you - I like your build thread!!- The ray never got acclimated to all the flow in the tank, he was eating from my hand till the day he died but could never just glide the water column without getting slammed around by my flow. I know many commented about him living in a BB tank, but he was at peace at night from what I could tell. Turned out to be mistake -

Where did you get your white plastic sumps from? I have been looking all over for some of them and I haven't been able to find any. They would make great holding tanks for all sorts of stuff.

jbroholt-man, I think it was carson industries that carried them, but the ones I had on my system eventually cracked so I cannot recommend them-they do make a grey colored reinforced style that is way better- I replaced mine with a 300g used acrylic tank to be my sump-

Reefaquariumnut-thank you, let me know when your tank is ready for some of my coral and I can ship some if you'd like -are you still running 2 BK's and how are you liking them?

I love the BK's...I went down a week ago to clean the skimmers and i almost threw up! They really pull the gunk out.

Give me a month or so and I will be ready for another round of frags.

Thanks for the info. Do you by chance remember how much you paid for them? I did find one site that carries one similar to what is in your pics and they are going for about $250.00. Does that sound about right? These ones are lab grade tanks that are FDA approved for seafood holding and shipping.

Jason- I got a deal cus I bought 3 at a time but I am not sure of the price I paid to be honest- be sure yours are heavy duty style so the bottoms don't crack out if you fill them to much
