7094 question...again

I feel like I should understand the workings of my 7094, since I've had it operating for over 60 days, but I don't. Specifically, when I attach my 2 pumps to sockets 8 and 11 and set the controller in tide mode, is it true or false that the motors will turn on then off, alternating activity between each pump during the cycle? In other words, when 8 is on, 11 is off, and when 8 is off, 11 is on.

I ask because that's not what I'm seeing, instead both pumps are on constantly (with pulsing, as expected). On the other hand, in sequential mode, one pump does turn off, dictated by the interval frequency setting.

As you can see, I'm confused. Please help me understand tide mode motor control.

In tide mode the LEDs over 8 and 10 and the pumps should be on, after the interval 9 and 11 come on. and they switch back and forth at the set interval.. You might need to power down everything and wait a minute and then try again, do this by disconnecting the pumps from the wall and leaving the controller connected to the drivers. Be sure the green interval light is on and the cables are firmly connected.

Will try that Roger. Right now the LEDS over all four sockets are on, varying only in intensity. I'll disconnect and make certain all cables are firmly connected. I'll report back shortly. Thanks for the help.

Ok, I did as you suggested Roger and here's what I see. First, both pumps are running. The green light is on. The LEDs over 8-11 are on, with the only change being that 8+9 are bright then 10+11 are bright, coordinated with the pulse. At no time do any of the yellow LEDs turn off in tide mode. I doubled check all connections as well and gave the controller a full 15 minutes
downtime before reconnecting the wall plugs. Is this a bum controller?

Do the pumps on all sockets run? Are you sure it is not in Sequence or pulse? I can't really say what is happening without seeing it, double check all the settings and if it doesn't work send it in and I will check it out as soon as it arrives.

Hi Roger,

Do you mean in tide mode?

Are you sure it is not in Sequence or pulse?

Yes, I'm certain.

I can't really say what is happening without seeing it, double check all the settings and if it doesn't work send it in and I will check it out as soon as it arrives.

That's fine, but can you tell me what it is that you'll do, and, what kind of turn-around time can I expect? If the controller is defective, what happens?

Thanks.
