7095 controller

Hi everybody,
I have the 7095 controller but never really understood it. I have two pumps connected to it. Should one be on channel 1 and the other on channel 2 or doesn't it matter. What should the white knobs be set at? Each channel has two white knobs and I can only figure out the one of them does something. What interval should I be on? I have it on interval 2. I notice when I go to interval 1 the channel 1 lights go out. So confused. Please help.

If you want to use an Interval mode, you need one pump in channel one and one in channel 2. Lights out means those pumps are off, Interval one turns one channel off and Interval 2 instead idles that channel at 30%. If you let me know what you are trying to accomplish I am happy to describe the settings to do it.
