7095 in Pulse mode --I don't understand the instructions--HELP!!!

Do I understand this correctly? I have two 6055s, one hooked up to channel one, and one to channel two.

Does pulse mode mean that the pumps actually vary their speed between whatever parameters you set,(for example 20% and 100%)?

And if you set the pulse rate for fast (1.5sec) does that mean that every second and a half the pump starts at 20% then ramps up to 100%?

Lastly, is this good for my SPS and LPS corals, and how do I get the night and moonlight function to work with the pusle mode. Do I have to push the "night mode" button every night?

The instruction manual is not that wonderful, so if you have any experience and could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

yes pulse means every 1.5 seconds the pump will go from 20% then 100% for 1.5 seconds then back to 20%. i personal like to do it like tides and have them on for 6 hours. that setting is interval 2 then set the time for 6 hours. just make sure your max is 100

Night mode comes on whenever the photocell senses darkness as long as the green LED near night mode is on. The same applies for the moonlight, it is automatic if the feature is turned on, on the controller. In night mode pulsing stops and the pumps stay at whatever the bottom knob on each channel is set to.
