7095 night sensor question

I got a new light fixture that sits very low to the water and to make the 7095 controller's night sensor sense the lights are on it needs to be dangerously close to the water and is low enough to get splash/condensation so am wondering how waterproof the sensor is to be on the safe side.
Thanks.

The light sensor are not water proof at all. If you have salt build up on the light sensor or around the moonlight it will burn out real quickly

I would consider it water resistant, if it is submerged for a brief moment it will be fine but long term the water tends to enter and short the connections. I would just do your best to minimize any chance of submersion or excessive condensation.
