Hi I jsut got one of these and read the directiosn but I still dont understand the difference between pulse time and interval time. can anyone help?

Right now I only have 1 stream 6000 but plan to add more later. What would be the best setting for this in my tank? I have other powerheads in there as well if that can help come up with a nice flow pattern.

Thanks
Chris

Interval only works with 2 or more pumps. You will want to use pulse setting until you get another pump.

so the interval dial does nothing even though a time interval LED is lit up?

What is the pulse time doing?

Thanks!

Well, interval does still do something even if you only have one pump hooked up. the 7095 will try to switch from the 1st pump to the 2nd pump at the interval setting. So having the interval set to a certain time will still vary the intensity of your one pump. The pulse controls the strength of the pump - vary strength from 100% to x%. The pulse time controls how long it takes to vary the strength.

On my tank, I have my sole 6000 hooked up to the 7095 on interval 2, pulse time set to 6 seconds, interval set to 4 minutes. Pump strength is set to 100% max, 60% min. So the pump runs from 100% to 60% for about 4 minutes, changing between the two intensities every 6 seconds after which it drops to 30% steady for 4 minutes and then repeats the cycle.
