7095 settings for 2 Streams in a 40g breeder?

(1) 6000 firing from left corner and (1) 6100 firing from right corner. I have a return pump running at about 700gph agitating the surface. Should I setup so both pumps are off overnight? If so, what settings? Thanks!

You could not have both pumps off overnight. You could set one on 30% and one off by using Interval 1 and turning the bottom knobs to 30%.

Is there an issue w/ using a seperate timer like the $20 digital ones from HD to cut the power to the streams during night hours?

The only issue would be animals entering the stream when it is off and getting killed or breaking the prop/shaft.

Tide mode is best simulated by using an interval mode at 6 hr intervals. The perfect solution is adding a wavebox and using Interval one so you have waves and high flow for 6 hours and then a softer flow from the other direction for 6 hrs.
