7096 mac software

Hi Roger,
Just purchased a 7096 controller along with a 6095 pump for a 40 gallon new reeftank. While playing with the controller software disk on both a Mac and then a windows computer I noticed that while in pulse mode on the Mac computer there is no provision for Ramp or Random flow programming. Is this correct?

That's correct. Those functions are currently only available on the Windows version, but should be added to the Mac version with the update planned for later this year.

do you have any idea about the mac software update of 7096.
unfortunately the power of the pumps went down almost 50% after i tried to control via mac...
very interesting that when you try to control the unit via windows the pumps runs much powerful than mac version. has anyone noticed that?

I have never seen that before unless the settings were changed and once a controller is set up on Windows, it will no longer connect to a Mac because the software and firmware are unable to communicate (Windows uses a newer firmware). You may have seen the 7096 is being replaced by a new controller 7097. This will have new Mac/iOS software.
