7096 Question

Well I thought I was all set with the purchase of some Tunze equipment - then Aq Arts tells me about this 7096. I have a 7095 - but a question on the 7096. First off, they say it's easy to download the Mac version of software. I'll take their word for it.

BUT - I plan to run 2x6055 and 2x6025. The 6055's are for alternating, random flow. The 6025's are for constant flow blasting detritus out of the rocks. Can I use the 7096 for the 6025's? I know it's not a controllable pump, but can I use the software for the 6025's to turn on/off every few hours? Also, if I can use the 6025's with the 7096, will the feed button shut those pumps down as well while target feeding LPS?

No the 6025 as well as any other non-controllable Tunze pump cannot be controlled by the Tunze controller. The controller uses a separate cable to send a voltage signal to the pump which plugs into a junction box between the pump and power supply.

Shawn is correct, only the 6055's could be connected to the 7096 or 7095.
