7096 trouble

I bought a used 7096 controller. Now I can not get it to work. It will not connect and when the controller is plugged in it there is a sound that indicates it is repeatedly trying to connect. When then unplugged the computer comes up with a message saying something is wrong with the usb device.

What can I do now? Any help?

Download the latest program from Tunze.com, it has a longer delay for windows to connect to the USB device. You may also need a shorter cable in some case, it is just a standard USB cable.

I tried a powered usb hub on a xp computer and it now connects. It is hard to find usb_a to usb_a cables. Thanks Roger. I was worried.
