Any idea when the mac version will be updated to at least Version 1.1.0.6. I tried using the PC version on a Windows 7 64 bit laptop and after messing around with com ports for 2 hours I gave up.

I will check, I know both have an update that is nearly finished, the Windows one is just bug fixes and the Mac will be updated to the same features as Windows.

Thanks! My windows laptop has a bunch of stuff that interfere with the com ports, it is not just the Tunze 7096 that doesn't work. The mac recognizes the7096 right away.

Yes, I know, when I first switched I marveled at how I could unplug a camera or plug it in while the computer was booted and not have the system crash or freeze up, of course that was on Windows 98 and I have very little experience since. Unfortunately that bit of convenience is all in the programming and that is why it is always slower for the Mac version to come out, the USB implementation is pretty strict to get that seamlessness and if there is a bug it just won't work at all.
