72 days in cupramine

Not intentionally to leave a bristletooth tang in hospital tank for so long but it just happened. I started dosing cupramine at 0.4mg level and yesterday i checked it was at around 0.30mg level. The tang has been in cupramine for 72 days now and have not had anymore ich sign since day 2. Given tank fallow period is 72 days so i was wondering whether i can put the tang straight back into display tank without going through anothrr 4 weeks of observation after cupramine is removed? I understand that some LFS runs low level of copper to mask ich and then we get burned after buying their stocks and ich breaks out. My thinking is since 72 days have passed so whatever ich cycle would have finished in this 72 days long cupramine tank. What do you think?

Yes, as Julie indicates, with a non-therapeutic dose of copper, all parasites may be masked.

Lets forget about other parasites for the time being and just on ich discussion purpose, would this therapeutic level of copper after 73 days now be sufficient to kill all ich? Not just masking it given the length of period the fish has been in?
