720 Gal SPS tank with Full LED lights - BB

Is that a tank engine room? Looks like a nuclear reactor! Very nice attention to detail. I have no idea what I am looking at, but I can tell it is well done.

Thanks.

In that control panel I have ALL the switches controled by an Apex controller. Auxiliary circuits take care of the massive energy power so the Apex energy bars will last forever (I hope) because the maximum energy they need to take care is 0,02A.

There are safetys on each switch and two levels of discharge protection.

I also have 4 ecotech batteries and a truck battery to run my DC pumps (Skimmer, ....)

I'll take pics of everything next week.

Thanks to all.

Hello Roberto,
Great looking tank, corals, and anemone! I think with your quantity of LEDs shading shouldn't be much of an issue but are you seeing evidence of that? I had two Vega Colors over a 60 cube for a time and it was amazing the shading that was so evident (green slimers green on one side brown on the other, etc.).

Love the H. Magnifica too!

Hi, your tank looks amazing. Nothing like getting colonies like that to get the "instant reef " look. A quick question on the silicone bottom, do you think it would work to coat the silicone before it cured in sand to give a sandy look?

Yes, i think that it will work. Will be great I think.

Get a small piece of glass and test it.

After I asked the question I went ahead and tried it to see if it would work. If you work it into the silicone it will hold and actually looked pretty good. Has to be done before it skims over though. I just dumped alot on to it and pushed it down. Do you think there would be any drawbacks to doing that in the tank. I think you would get the sandbed look and very easy to clean.

It is just a shame you never really committed to this project :lol2:
Sorry, i didn't understand . Committed to what ? :)
I suspect arinrb was being ironic, meaning that he is actually very impressed by the extent of your dedication to the reef hobby as evidenced by your beautiful aquarium. Sometimes humour doesn't translate well on an Internet forum.
