720 Gallon Mixed Reef Build

To multi reply:

1. I'd never consider glass. It's not for me. I wouldn't even want to guess what it would weigh.

2. I was planning out plumbing today.i have all equipment but my Red Dragon pumps.

3. There is A 225 next to it.

Excited to be a part of the process! Try to keep us photo logged as often as your able, I'm sure I will not be the only one living vicariously through your build! It is going to be an awesome reef!

I was fortunate enough to see this tank first hand and yes it's a monster. The setup is killer. Everybody's gonna love your build thread.
And the shop is super clean, very impressive all around.

I figured it was acrylic. It still must be insane heavy. I built a 4x8x25 for a buddy a few months ago outa 3/4 and I'll tell you it was some heavy. I can only imagine what yours must weigh being that much bigger and with the thicker material. I had people crapping on me for building a tank the size I built outa 3/4. They all said 1". I want a tank your size once I get a bigger place but I was worried 1" wouldn't be enough. This gives me confidence. We're in about the same place. I've got my stand built and canopy. Hoping to fill mine this weekend. Mines only a baby though lol. 96x32x25. Lol. Can't wait to see more!

Nice tank brother. I just got a 720g identical to yours. Mine is glass tho. Takes 12 guys to move it. It's empty now

No updates yet.
Im dealing with a vendor who will not follow up on the pumps, return calls or emails.
I need to find someone to locally build a rack for the lights that will be able to retract on the wall. After that its pretty straight forward. I have everything ready to go together.

I'm not willing to drive that far.
I'm working on finding someone closer to my shop. Plus ultimately speaking if I do end up reopening another tropical fish store, Id rather it be someone who can do work on a larger commercial scale.
