- Nass Snails (10-15)
- Hermits (10-15)
- Brittle Star

Rest of tank will be corals. I think I am on the heavy side, but with great husbandry I think this is possible. Thoughts and concerns? This tank was not able to be drilled for a sump. My personal concern would be having enough nutrient export for all these fish.

I know some of them can get pretty big in size, but I will be purchasing as juvs. Any and all suggestions please.

What are your plans once the tangs get too big? As for the snails and hermits, most will say either one or the other, because hermits will kill snails for their shells.

I keep both, but haven't had this problem. I might've stumbled upon a recipe for keeping both. I only have trochus snails and my hermits are either larger or smaller and not just by a little. Also the footing on trochus snails are pretty strong, they're able to flip themselves, and they're rarely on the sand bed. Having empty shells will help as well.

Our goal is to eventually have a 180g within the next year or so. If they get to large before then I will have to rehome. I don't seem to have any problems with snails n hermits together in my smaller system, but never know. I think this size tank should last a good 2 years without everyone out growing it.

Hopefully you didn't add all those fish at once right after the tank completed cycling. BTW the chromis will murder each other of until only 1 or 2 are left

Tank was already cycled and no. But tangs were added together with 3x chromis. Levels are fine. I check daily. Although I am missing 1 of my chromis. I thought they did well in schools?
