Well, maybe for my wife... My office is at the top of the stairs, over the fishroom/garage. I'm self employed, operate my company from home, and am busy as hell with programming projects at the moment which means I rarely ever get outside of the house these days! :hmm5:

This is pretty much my entire view of the world on a day-in ~ day-out basis anymore...

Oh thats a bummer. I hear you on being busy. Im self employed too and its hard to sometimes find time to just sit and stare at the tank. Btw nice office.

love the thread good luck I am starting on our in wall it is only 187 though but so far so good. Hm... Jonesboro not too far from Memphis

I also work out of my home office. That's why I have a Nano Tank in there. Can't wait until I have a seup like yours for a big boy tank.

Ah, jeez... You shoulda seen him when we were working on the GA Aquarium, Atlanta... Like a freakin' kid in a candy store, every time we opened a closet door. :)

Hey, I hear that the Belugas are back in our tank. I want to cruise up there sometime and see how our underwater epoxy repairs are holding up...

Lemme know, and we'll plan to meet up there for a weekend and hang out w/ Joe @ Legal Seafoods.

Just don't plan to do it the weekend of June 10th, because I'll be on a live-aboard diving the Texas Flower Gardens.

Best yet would be we meet up in Atlanta, then you and Kym follow us back here and we dive Bonne Terre Mine together.

I'm seriously missing the hell out of you guys!!! :sad1:

We miss you too, buddy! :D Time to bag another big job so we can all get together and make some money. :)

I got one yesterday - a local job for Sprint, working on one of their submerged fibers. Just a one-day job, though...

Last week I raised a 67-foot shrimp boat from the sea floor. That was fun. :) Looks like I may have another to do (84 ft) here in the next coming week, too.

...And of course, there's always tons of boat bottoms to clean - I think I've got something like 60 that are scheduled right now and I'm pretty short-staffed. :)

I've also got a boat lift to install in Atlantic City come the 1st of June or so... And later in the summer I should be doing that NC dive that I talked to you about earlier...

Meanwhile, though, I need to sell another aquarium job. That was fun, wasn't it? :)

Anytime you want to come here and dive, my friend, let me know... I'll put you to work! :)

I'll have some pics to share in a week or so of my new fill station (compressor, bank bottles, custom-made, stainless steel fill panel), inside my completed "SeaJay's Scuba Shack." :) Between jobs, I'm workin' my tail off on getting that up and running...

The new fill station will put me in total control of all available air fills from Charleston, SC to Savannah, GA. Just call me "Sheikh!" :)

Once I'm done with this programming job and have started to cycle this new reef tank, I just may come a knockin' on your door to hang out for a few days. Before I do though, I'll need to get that PADI "Hull Scraping" c-card. :D

If/when I get there, we are gonna dive doubles on the Betsy Ross, right..? ;)

-Tim

Sure... That sounds like a blast. I'd like to get some non-working diving in. :)

Bring your scooters - we'll do doubles and scooter and have an absolute blast. :)

One of my clients has a brand new 28' Grady White Sailfish - a great dive boat - and he's been buggin' me to go diving. :) I could take one of my boats, but it'll be a great opportunity for a team of three or four (no doubt Kym will want to go, too), break in his new boat, and fly some scooters (I got one for Kym, too). :)

Let's do it, man. :)

4 scooters, 4 people, new 28' Grady... A perfect day, no doubt! :) I've got the tanks and fills covered (bring your doubles - I've only one one set, but like 25 or 30 singles).

Once you've dived the 'Ross, you'll be spoiled for life. :) Both tropical and temperate flora and fauna, 437' of virtually undived Liberty Ship, 112' to the bottom, 68' top of the deck, "doormat" sized flounder, tons of stingrays, sharks, triggers, puffers, loggerheads... You name it. :)

You'll be spoiled for sure... Some mild penetration opportunities, too. :)

The 1.5" and 1" clear PVC arrived today... I'll be using small sections of clear SCH40 as viewing ports to gauge calcification buildup inside the plumbing.

From the photos, it doesn't appear that the placement of the tank allows for anyone to sit down and enjoy the tank directly. Is there room on the other side of the wall for people to just sit and enjoy the view?

Thx,

Dave.M
