I'm glad you've seen someone keep a Flame Angel in an irresponsibly sized tank and think that justifies one in a 24"x24" space. I've seen small Blue Tangs in a 60 gallon cube, I guess that means 24" is enough for one then! :deadhorse1:
Please enlighten me as to why all guides for keeping Flame Angels recommend a minimum of a 3' tank space and recommend 4' if "24 inches is enough"?
Again, when smaller it'll likely be fine, at full-size, not so much.
Haven't heard what tank size they needhave you thought about a flame angel?....nice fish:spin2:!!!!
I think they would be ok as the dottyback doesn't get far from his cave...and from what I have seen of the gobies they hang more in the middle portion of the water column.. the DB rarely goes above the bottom 1/4 or so of the tank....I'm worried that the dottyback will cause issues with the gobies if
You decide on them
Do you think 3 could coexist in a 24x24 footprint?Get three chalk bass. I love mine. They hang out in the open water, but will also go down to the bottom or perch on the rocks.
Anyone know if dartfish can be in barebottom tanks? I didn't think they needed sand.. but LA says the do for burrowing.. specifically blue gudgeon or scissortail
Thanks for the help...They do not need sand. They don't actively construct their own burrow. They will use whatever dartholes are available.
