I got a time when my Phosphates were 1.0 and corals were growing like crazy, but also cyano started to pop up. After I dumped lots of Vinegar I managed to drop PO to 0 but corals stopped growing :) I guess I have to find a golden medium.

I decide to give ATS go in my system. I had little GHA along with Bryopsis.

This is initial setup, on one of my intake lines to the sump.

This is one week after, you can see some diatoms grow on it

I have been running this for 2 weeks so far and I can see the positive results already in my DT. Along with ATS i am running GFO and Skimmer.

I have to ask..how is the puffer enjoying full salt? I used to have one in my freshwater tank a few years ago, he was the personality of the tank. I have heard they can transition but I know they are brackish. How long did it take you to acclimate him? They are great fish he looks very healthy!

He is doing pretty good. He always chew something off my rocks and keep his beaks in check. I have him over one year in the full salt water and he looks healthy. I have him for 3 years in total.
