75 gallon Oceanic Reef Ready tank and stand in Riversida, IA.

$275 or will consider a Nano as a partial trade.

Obviously, the livestock needs to be sold before the tank will be available.

Only real flaw with the tank, aside from some minor glass scratches, is a chip in the outside edge of the lower right side of the tank. I chipped it dragging it out of a pickup when I first bought it. I set this tank up in Sept. 2003 and have since moved it twice. The area of the chip is structurally insignificant. I put silicone on it for any sharp edges and was going to trim the tank with stained 1/4 trim as it hides the silicone as well.

Plans changed!

Plans changed!

My plans have changed and I will be moving this tank to our new location so it is no longer for sale.

I will need to find a nice stand/canopy for it in the Des Moines area!

I am going to try to use our impending move to upgrade... "But honey it is much easier on us and the fish if we set up the 220 early and then just move the fish directly into it. We can then tear down the 90 when we have the moving van there... :D

Glad to see you are keeping it. Are you sure you wouldn't rather keep the 180??? :D

YES I WOULD!

What we're doing is moving so that I can get involved in her family's business. They're asking me to bring the tank as it would be a nice addition - problem is the tank would be in an older building that can't support a 180 :(

I now need to search for a matching stand/canopy in a darker wood to compliment the surroundings.

We won't be building a house for a while and the 180 is a PIA to lug around.

If you are buying a new stand and canopy it might be a good time to jump to that 120 you have always wanted... :D

I agree BUT my wife sees the "value" in keeping the 75 as I already have everything I need for it (sans newer stand/canopy).

However, I did use the 180 as an excuse for her to finally get a clam and a Hippo Tang!

I even had her convinced to let me keep the 75 and add some smaller tanks for more Clowns and Seahorses.

Ah clowns and seahorses.... There is one heck of an addiction. The fry make it so easy to get that extra tank you always "needed" or buy that special food or piece of equipment that will help them grow faster. The family budget seems to open up at the sight of baby fish.

If you let the canopy go with the lights let me know eric

I might let the custom "ghetto" canopy go but I'll prolly keep the lights unless I run across a sweet deal on a pair of 150's (double ended) with actinic (pc or T5) in a 48" set up.

I think the 250's are a bit of overkill for the 75 and I might like to go lower profile which would make it easier to find a canopy.
