I'm posting it because you just might not be aware of the needs of tangs, certainly not to be insulting. Everyone has the right to make their own decisions, of course.

Thank you sir... I am aware of the needs of tangs. I realize that they need a rather large swimming space to be "happy", and that I am probably taking a risk putting these fish in my aquarium. However, the size ratio of fish to tank seems suitable, IMO, and when they're ready to be put in a bigger tank, I'll be more than willing to upgrade the size of their living space.

I agree completely. I'm not easily offended, but no, I wasn't offended at all. In my opinion, these forums are here to share experience, knowledge, opinions, etc... and to futher enrich the overall quality of the hobby that many of us have a deeply rooted addiction to.

Woah! NOW I'm offended! Lol... Everyone's doing pretty well. Powder Blue has a slight case of ich... picked up a cleaner wrasse and some Ich-X to treat the tank with today. He's still his normal self and eating as well as ever, so I'm sure he'll pull through.

Tank looks really good! What is the gph on your koralias?

Every time I see someone with a galaxea, it just makes me want one more and more!

Thanks! At this point I honestly don't remember the GPH on my Koralias. One of them is from my old tank, and the other is from a friend's tank who he gave me to hold me over until I can get something better.

The galaxea is a nice coral, it adds a nice touch to the tank since it's very "flowy".

I love the "flowy" corals, so fun to watch. I'm scared of its sweepers though!

Why thank you! It's still a rather large learning curve for me. Like I said in the beginning, this was never planned. What was meant to be a lighting upgrade turned into a full tank uprade due to a faulty (leaning stand). I had lots of assistance from a few knowledgable helping hands, so it went rather smoothly, but it was a bit stressful as well. It was purchased and built in an afternoon

Lol I know what you mean. The first tank was a bit more spread out, but even then, it was still only a week or so. If I could go back, there are still a few things I would have wanted to do differently... BUT, I will be moving soon to a new house, so in the mean time, I will be working on adjustments that I can implement during the tank move

I have mine in the lower center of the tank... The flow in that area seems to be medium I would say... I've heard that they more or less put out their sweepers when they're in water conditions that aren't ideal? That could be a myth. Maybe it's the complete opposite

I've heard the same thing actually on someone else's thread who has galaxea, maybe it isn't a myth after all! Haha guess I'll see how yours fairs before getting one :lmao:

Well I've had mine for about... 3 weeks or so I think. I must say with a butterfly in my tank, it's doing rather well. I can't say the same for my Christmas Favia which became a snack for the butterfly

I've really wanted a flame angel now for a while, and I've read some threads were people keep them successfully. However, I'm still a bit nervous about one nipping my corals. Ugh, desicions desicions!
