75 Gallon Stock list

Hello, I'm new to reef central and saltwater aquariums in general. I've spent a couple of months researching and I've come to the decision that I'm not doing a reef to save money. I'm looking at doing a 75 gallon FOWLR tank. Is this stocklist plausible?

Stocklist
2x Clarkii Clownfish
1x Flame Hawkfish
1x Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish
1x Tomini Tang or Powder Brown Tang
1x Blue Throat Triggerfish
1x Flame Angelfish

Questions
Could I possibly add a snowflake eel or a watanabei angelfish?
I think both of those fish are amazing.
Would I need a 120 gallon to to achieve this stocklist?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I would eliminate the trigger and the powder brown. The tomini or kole is the only tang I would put in a 75.

A 120 would be better, but I think it's still too small for the trigger and powder brown. It should be fine for a snowflake. It's marginal for the watanabei, I think.

I have no experience with lions, so will leave it to others to advise you about compatibility with the other fish on your list.

I kept my fuzzy dwarf, clarkii clown pair, and coral beauty together in a 55 gallon for several months before upgrading to my 90, but never had a problem with them in that tiny of a tank so a 75 would work fine I think.

My fuzzy and female clown are close to the same size, 3 inches ish, my coral beauty and male clown around 2.25-2.5 inches. My clowns also have a haddoni carpet they can hide in if they ever felt threatened. I think the clowns would have to be fair sized or the fuzzy to be much smaller than the clowns for it to work together.

No experience with the other fish, I only mention the coral beauty because its similar to the flame Angel you want. Iirc lions and triggers shouldn't be mixed, though a blue throat may be okay.

puffers and lions dont make good tankmates. Puffers like to nip at the fins of the lion. The puffer you want may not do this, but it is a risk.

Updated Stocklist
1x Mombasa Lionfish
1x Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish
1x Flame Hawkfish
2x Clarkii Clownfish
1xTomini Tang
1x Snowflake Eel
Would I be overstocked?
Any help would be appreciated, as would any suggestions for my stocklist.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think you'd be overstocked, about at your limit though id say (the eel and two lions is pushing it in terms of the bio-load, as all 3 will be messy eaters)

You'll definitely be fully stocked. I'd remove the flame hawk, it could get picked on since they are one of the more docile hawkfish.

Who in particular might pick on the hawkish? I thought lionfish were generally docile?

Would A flame angelfish be a good replacement for the flame hawkfish. I like both but I will give the choice to those more experienced than I.

Those clowns will rule the tank once they mature. My flame hawk got beaten up by my perc pair quite a bit. It could also have problems with the eel since they both occupy the same areas of the tank.

A flame angel would probably hold it's own better. Although you mostly have red fish, so maybe look at a lemon peel to add some yellow?

I've heard lemonpeel angelfish are not very hardy. What about a coral beauty?
If clownfish are really territorial, should I replace them with something else?

That is true to a certain extent. Lemon Peels are notorious for being collected with cyanide and that contributes to their not hardy status. If you acquire a healthy specimen from a trusted source and make sure it is eating it should do just fine.
A coral beauty would also be fine, I was trying to think of a fish that would add a different splash of color. I made the mistake of having all red and orange fish in my first tank, so in all my new tanks I have paid attention to adding a range of colors.

Are you still thinking about a 75? Because I wouldn't add the snowflake if you are. In any event, clowns and dwarf angels will be at risk once the eel attains its full size.

I thought snowflake eels were crustacean eater?

When they're young, yes. There are many reports of these eels turning fish-eater once they reach sexual maturity. Not certain, but I think it would be reported more if more of these fish survived to maturity. Sadly, most die by escaping.
