750g show tank (L shape)

i have always wanted an "L" shaped tank! this threat was a great read and has given me a lot of info! thanks so much for sharing!
 
How I hope one day they'll open a decent store in saskatchewan.... or even Winnipeg... but of as always the eastern and western gets it all, never in the plains.

WOW...just read the whole thread and this is what i dream of one day too. Gives me alot of thought as to how i may plan my next system. Great build!!! And thank you for sharing it all with us fellow reef keepers!!!
 
Exception tank and store. You guys have done everything right...from schedule 80 plumbing to equipment.

I hope my 450 L-shape turns out half as nice as yours !

well it's been a long time since I made an update (sorry!)

we are so busy with our new store (not complaining!! it work so well !!)

only 2 littles pictures taken today

first our second couple of clown (will probably become a mate pair)
Platinum clown :) we were worried for a bit that they decide to mix (1 picasso x 1 platinum) loll but now the couple seem made :)



and a second couple ; a couple of gold head jawfish, really fascinating fish!
they make their home bellow a really big squamosa clam loll really funny

how are those return pumps doing? and have you changed any plumbing since the beginning or has everything stayed the same.

Thats a very, very bleached out H.magnifica anemone you guys have there...is it still eating? How long have you had it?

the anemone is bleach but is really not as bad as the picture show... she is till eating well so we have good hope :)
 
excellent pics marie!

i will be moving shortly and will have to start all over again.... but i guess it gives me a chance to redo some things for the better and i will finally get my fish room!!!!

i hope to have half the tank you do with this FINAL move. i wont do it again. :)
 
Well yesterday we change one of our T5 fixture for a LED fixture

we found a compagny (we now distribute their products :) ) who can make the fixture the size you want (we ask 8 feet long) and all the led (red, purple, blue and white) can be controle independantly, manually or with the Profilux !!

so here it is :

332 LED



on this picture the white LED are not at 100% maybe 90%


on the left : LED/ on the right T5HO (but because of the time they had already start to dime :( that's why the difference is so high

Marie, is it your opinion that just red LEDs are sufficient to gain the best colour resolution for human viewing? Do you think there is any need for yellow or green LEDs to be added?

yesterday, she just mentioned that she switched out the light yesterday.... so if you see some growth in 2 days... i will need a 8Ft light and a 4Ft light as well as 2 24" lights!!!!!!!!
