750g show tank (L shape)

Well let me start by saying congradulations on a superior build! Love the aquascape too! And I covet your moorish idols!

I would like some more technical information on that deltec eco cooler, I'm going to your BF's website now to see if he has anything posted. If it's not there, I'll likely message back and inquire about the voltage, and amperage, and BTU capacity. Or you can just post it for everybody else who will be wondering the same thing.

Do you have an overall estimate as to the systems overall energy usage? I'm planning my next build (still a year away before I break ground) energy usage and effeciency is going to be key in determining how large of a system I will be building.

Regards,
Andy

I found the information I was looking for on the site in terms of wattage and rating.

That Giesman Matrix fixture you've got didn't come with ballasts then? The ballasts your using are Advance Electric ballasts, aren't those just the ones that you get down at City Electric/Contractors Supply?

So now that you and your BF have had this baby (the tank that is), is he going to make an honest woman out of you? I don't think he's going to do much better! The only reason I married my wife is because she's a total reef nerd! Yep...the only reason! lol j/k

thank you for your great comments :)

as for the ballast of our fixture they are advance dimming ballast

as for energy consomption... I have no idea yet... and I'm not sure I want to know hahaha

here's a new video of the tank
it's only light by Blau Hiblue T5 on the video, hope you like :)

ps. someone can tell me how to make the video appear on the post instead of only the link?

I think you can just use the "embed" html script provided by youtube in the left hand toolbar...let's see;

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BNrtOfVaPUA&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BNrtOfVaPUA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

yep that worked!

thats beyond beautiful. i cant even imagine how its gunna look after its matured a year. also +1 on davids comment lets see the filtration room! a commentary on it would be great to so others could learn from how it works

congrats on the larger store!! while your at it, maby you could post a video of the sore build! lol, judging by your tank, I think most of us would like to see that too!
