Hello all,
I know this is a SW forum, but I thought someone might be thinking of setting up a FW tank? This would be the perfect opportunity.
I've been sitting on this equipment for a while due to my indecision to sell but at this point it really is just taking up space in my living room. It has been empty but running with water for a few months now. I can leave it full of water so you can see that it holds water.
$400 for everything belowFollow this link for my full build thread so you can see what went in to building it: http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showt...Acrylic-tank-w-40g-sump-(Journal-build-thread) )
- DT Acrylic in good condition - 75g = 48L x 18W x 20H
- Sump - 40g = 36L x 15W x16H includes all of my ceramic rings as well as Swisstropical poret foam. 10ppm & 20ppm if I remember correctly (tons of it)
-Stand which includes 2x DG strips w/ 4 outlets on each side.
-Bean animal overflow (See this thread to see how it works in case you are not familiar: http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showt...d-40g-sump-finally-done!-Bean-Animal-overflow )
-Universal Rocks 3D background
-All plumbing included with higher end union ball valves Has a bulkhead about 30% from the water line for easy water changes. All 1" plumbing except for the BA system which uses expanded 1.5" for emergency as well as the open line.
For an extra $25 i'll throw in an Eheim 1250 pump. I was running mine with an Eheim 1260 but I plan on keeping that one for another tank.
Heater is also not included as I need mine for another tank.
Other than that, the system is literally ready to put water in and run. Over 100g of water including the sump which offers great stocking capacity. I had a group of 8 grown discus in this tank with no problems.
Other stuff for sale:
-24" Aquatic Life Edge LED Light. $50 I did a review for it here:
http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showt...c-Life-EDGE-LED-light-fixture-informal-review
-Eheim 1250 if it doesn't sell above with tank $30
-Coralife power center controller outlet $10
- 1 kilo Safe (only half left) $5
-55g white food grade barrel. I kept my clean water change water here for the discus. I have a glass lid I would use on it that I can throw in if you want it $10
-Rio 1400 pump $10 (good for water changes)
-Fusion 400 air pump - Isn't very powerful. Would be good for a nano tank or something. $5
-Filter sponge pre-filters x4. There are some fluvals in there I believe. All new. $3 for all 4
-Lily pipe cleaner - Bought from China but works great for glass lily pipes: $5
-Driftwood - I don't have current pictures as they are in a garbage bag in my shed, but I can take current pictures if necessary. You can see how they look in the 75g tank when it was dry though:
