Everything for the new tank is either here or has been ordered and on its way except for another salifert nitrate and phosphate test kit.

Nice frags.;)

As for the emeralds, they are kinda hit or miss. And you know what my luck with any livestock is... I usually end up with critters that normally would never touch a coral eating my corals like candy. I have read that emeralds, when small, only eat algae but develop a taste for meat as they get larger so you may be ok with smaller ones.

Well I ordered from E-tropicals

I ordered 6 Emeralds, 20 astreas,3 Peppermint shrimp,10 Mexican turbos.

As it is right now I have 2 LE coral/Frag online stores I look at

http://www.fragfarmer.com/

and

http://www.atlantisaquarium.net/index.html

Yes prices are high. But they are reputable.

Cool site nice assortment

What online stores do you you guys look at that have a big a big selection?

I really like to get Frags from places that have grown them in there own tanks. WHY? In my 75 gal I have limited room,my Liverock property is all Prime:)

I know what I like. I don't really have tons of room to experiment I guess. That and I still have a list of things I want. Only certain places that happen to be the expensive places that have them.

This is the main reason I don't shop at reefer madness. I know the corals I like. I don't want to have to guess what they will turn into or what color.

In my 120 I will try it all:)

For example I want for my 75gal

A. Turki

A. Hoeksemai

So I know only certain places have them. I really don't care about the LE/ Origin status or Uber Name I care about "Hey if I spend 60-70$ on a frag I want a LE.

I was very happy from this site I ordered a few corals a few weeks ago.

Nice selection good prices.

I've ordered frags from www.phishybusiness.com, and was really impressed with what I got. The smallest of the frags was 1.5 inches and had several axial corralites on it, all the rest were 2+ inches and one was 3 inches. Serdar packs his stuff hell for strong. I dont know what mil thickness the plastic bags that she corals shipped in was.....but it was several times thicker than standard plastic bags. It reminded me of the heavy duty plastic that is sometimes used, (alright....so I bought the wrong stuff...sue me), for sealing windows in the winter.
Anyway, heavy duty plastic, bags then placed in lighter weight foam wrap, then placed in stryofoam box with heat packs. All frags were unmounted, he provided a tube of superglue gel, and rock rubble to mount them on.
Made me happy and I will order from them again.
I've also ordered from LiveAquaria, (fish only) and had a great experiance. I mention them in this case as they are now selling frags from their facility in Wisconsin, and are offering a 30 day guarantee on their frags. AFAIK, no-one else is doing that...

Ok, Here are good shots of most of the new frags. As you can see a few aren't going to make it.

umm......

Well I have my small QT tank it's a 20 gal tank I fill it with about 5 gallons. Just enough to cover a heater and 2 small powerheads. I then add my interceptor. I think I used a little more then usual this time.

BUT, The fact that I might have used to much I don't think made such a bad impact. Since I came home from Jays house at 9:30 it was late. It takes 6 hours to properly treat for Redbugs but I didn't plan on waking up 3-4am in the morning. So I waited until I got home the next day from work to put them in my tank.

I think it might have been to stressful. It's hard to coordinate a good time to get frags during the week.

Actually my survival rate I think would have been 100% if I were to do just the 6 hour treatment.

This Redbug treatment is all new to me. But this is the first time I have ever had casualties with this tank setup.

Basically it comes down to me getting frags in the morning so after 6 hours I can put them in my tank.
