75g build.

that look is cool but you need some kind of shield or a good pair of shades if you want to be in the same room

Decided to go against the T5's, kind of. Going with a "diy" led light and possibly some T5s for supplement. Also, finally got the black elbows put on and what a different it makes. Also picked up a pair of heaters, hooked up my ATO, now it's the least exciting part, the waiting game while it cycles.

Also did a little organizing under the stand, still have a few wires to tuck away but so far it's not too bad. I actually still need to get a jigsaw or saw and just turn those lopsided holes into a square hole.

I'm going to try to. I just need to figure out which pins go to what diodes. Which Im hoping isnt too difficult.

Should be easy, I'll help later when I can sit down for more than 15 minutes and see if we can find a wiring diagram. I'm willing to bet the bottom of the board is the ground and each of the prongs is + for each of the led's.

BTW, I freaking love your tank!

For anyone still following along. All the parameters are zeroed out. Still have some diatoms in the tank. Going to wait for those to go away and throw some frozen food in there and make sure there isn't any huge spikes, just want to see if the bacteria can handle it. Shouldn't be too much longer.

welcome to the itech club, you wont be disappointed, what pump does it have, you will need to build a stand for it as it is too deep right now,

Your build is really coming along, tank looks great. Congrats on the skimmer, you won't be disappointed that's for sure. What pump are you using? Here's a pic to show you what Sam is talking about. For best production, the output should be just at or below the water level. I designed my whole sump around the itech 100.
