75g build.

Yeah, I might just have to cap it off if I can fit something there. I will probably end up running a jebao dc6000 and they're pretty small so we'll see.

Rock- check, just to build a nice aquascape. And need to now drill it, this is a little nerveracking to me but I'm sure it'll be fine.

I'm kind of tempted to buy one of those drill press things for drills from BRS for $40, seems that might take a lot of the fear out of it.

Hey mike, what's the diameter if the holes that hold the filter sock? I'm planning a new sump build.

Thanks

I just drilled a 40 breeder, and a 10 gallon deep blue tank for a 1'' bulk head. You can use my hole saw if you want....or bring your tank to me and ill drill it for free ;)

They hold big socks, I believe the holes that hold the socks are like 7" x 9". I'd love to bring the tank there Mark but its not fitting in a focus :-)

lol, makes sense. I got a mercury milan........I feel ya. If I ever find myself in that area Ill drill it for you. Thats if it hasnt been done yet.

Went and picked up the glass for the overflow. It's going to be 36x4x4 which should give me quite a bit of surface skimming. This is just a test fit to make sure everything fit together before I started to silicone it together.

Also went and picked up some 1/4" black starboard for the bottom of the tank. I was going to just paint the bottom of the tank but I think this will look really nice too.

Yeah, should be. The elbows are just about 3" so it might be a little tight but I think it'll fit. The guy in my opinion thread, his box was smaller than this one.

Forgot how expensive bulkheads were, big thanks to Tom at Creative though for helping me out even though it was almost closing time. Even with the bulkhead and pvc elbow I will have between 1/4"-1/2" between the elbow and front of the overflow box.
