I have only had it for a few months. I got both clams off of Buck50mg earlier this year.

Is that green cap on a magnet or something, or has it just grown on the glass like that?

I glued crushed coral to a magfloat then glued a frag of green cap to it. I had it on the side and didn't realize that it would grow so fast. I had to move it daily so it didn't grow on the glass. I just stuck it on the back glass and let it grow.

I kinda like it up there, so that's pretty neat. I wouldn't have thought it would grow so fast as that either, but I guess that's one of those nice and pleasant surprises, as opposed to finding those monsters you found in the tank earlier today.

Sea Hare

Sea Hare

I got this initially for the Bryopsis, but he is just cool as hell to watch. I have had him for a couple months and he has only knocked over one frag that I had just sitting on the edge of a piece of live rock. As soon as he comes up on anything he "sniffs" it out to see if he can eat it and if not just goes around.

So I can get a sense of perspective, how big is that slimer frag?

It's a sea hare. The slimer frag is about 4 inches. the sea hare is about 6 inches long.
